Full Stack Web Developer + 3D Web Designer + Shopify Expert

Passionate about web development and all forms of design, I blend creativity with technical expertise to create unique digital experiences. With more than 15 years of experience, I specialize in developing responsive, user-friendly websites and web applications.
I create user-centric, responsive designs that not only meet but exceed client expectations. From designing custom Shopify storefronts to developing dynamic web apps, each project showcases my ability to seamlessly blend functionality with aesthetic appeal.
GrainRatio was originally built in 2020 as a PHP-based website. I recently rebuilt it as a modern React app, then expanded it into a cross-platform application available as a Windows desktop app (via Electron) and an Android APK (via Capacitor). All versions share the same React front-end UI for a consistent user experience.
To support this rebuild, I used VS Code and GitHub for development and version control, and I publish updates through GitHub Releases. Offline caching ensures that GrainRatio works seamlessly without an internet connection, making it ideal for kitchen or field use.
I also added a dynamic feedback form to the web app, which submits user input to an Express server and stores it in a PHP-based database on my hosting server—bridging old and new tech stacks to extend functionality while preserving reliable backend workflows.

I built this ecommerce website on the shopify platform for a business I started in December of 2020. The scope of this project covers development, UI/UX design, data entry, legal research, and graphic design. I learned Liquid in order to develop specific templates and sections for this complex project. In addition to Liquid, JavaScript and jQuery were also used in development, alongside the typical HTML, CSS3 and Sass.
The data entry portion of the project required putting together an invetory of hundreds of products with extensive details, such as carat weight, millimeter size, and diamond clarity grades. For this portion, the tools utilized were Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets. Legal research was required to ensure the website and products are in full compliance with FTC and commerce guidelines at the state and federal level.
The graphic design involved in this project inlcudes photo retouching, creating assets for the website, and creating content for social media and marketing. Now that this project has ended, I am working on developing holiday promotional marketing material as well as a print-ready digital look book.
This project was for a client that I previously created branding for in 2017. The scope of the project included styling an internal web portal for one of the company's newer offerings. There were many unique constraints to the project, leading to a more graphic approach. I designed a set of core icons that reflected the brand's aesthetic guidelines. This created a more professional look by establishing continuity between the website and the internal web portal for clients.
GrainRatio.com is a website I created that grew from a small idea: to have all the water ratios for grains and rice in one place. It hosts an index of over 100 grains with water ratio and cook time information, as well as cooking instructions. This website was built using HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, and jQuery. I utilized elements of the bootstrap framework to create a simple, user-friendly interface. Aside from the UI and the development, this project also required me to research and build a grain database. This information in this database has been collected via trusted and reliable sources such as the USDA database, the ESHA database, federal websites from countries around the world, and manufacturers websites.
Eatiocracy is a food lifestyle blog featuring recipes, culinary basics, food photography, kitchen tips and honest product reviews. Branding for this project is still in development, and has since been put on hold dude to COVID-19.
This project was for a client that needed an update to their website as well as branding development based on their existing logo. I crafted the branding and included carefully selected colors, fonts and icons. I then created a new website on their existing WordPress platform, which centered around an informative landing page with a slider and other features. The branding was applied to the new website, as well as several promotional materials created after this project.
I created this promotional brochure for a start-up called Upgreen America, for which I also did the branding. This brochure was available on their website as a digital download PDF and also as a printed booklet. It covered the company's mission retrofit buildings through green energy initiatives and PACE legislation. The branding and presentation materials I provided were used at pitch meetings and during client interactions, and were instrumental in the company's buyout in 2017. Being presented with this opportunity on short notice, I also created the written content and copy for all promotional materials.
I created this website for a start-up called Upgreen America, for which I also did the branding. This website was built on the Drupal CMS platform. The tools used in this project include HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and database management. I was responsible for the graphic design and photo editing on this project which helped create a sense of continuity from the website to the printed materials. Being presented with this opportunity on short notice, I was tasked with putting together the written content and copy for the website. This required research and an understanding of the newly passed PACE legislation, which allowed the company to profit from retrofitting buildings through green energy initiatives. Although the website is no longer up, it was the primary selling tool that influenced the company's buyout in 2017.
I designed a logo and branding for a start-up called Upgreen America, whose mission is to retrofit buildings through green energy initiatives and PACE legislation. The client's custom branding included business cards, web ready logos, print versions of the same for company merch, letterhead, email signatures, banners and more.
